    Lee basically walks away from 54+ million dollar as the yankess offer was reportedly 7yrs - 154 millions and the Phillies was 5 years -100 million.

    @Buster_ESPN The Yankees' offer to Cliff Lee was 6 years, $138 million, with a seventh-year player option for an additional $16 million; total $154 m.

    I'm pretty amazed I dont recall any rumors about the Phillies. Theres usually some speculation before. Nobody cracked it?

    5th starter will probably be Kyle Kendrick as Blanton and his 17million dollar annual salary will be traded at 50% cost to the phillies according to espn and philly bloggers.
