Lol... it's more of an "Am I an idiot for making this trade?" question. So you are saying DeJuan Blairs lack of ACLs will come back to haunt him this year?
Uhhh... yeah, probably, if he's on my team. I like to invest in young guys though... it's my fantasy style. Blair will be starting for San Antonio and probably get progressively more minutes throughout the season, so I think he'll average a double-double. Just my opinion though. It may not be 20/10 like Yao would average on normal minutes, but it's competitive with Yao on limited minutes I think. Yao will get blocks though... hmm... I also wanted Teague, oddly enough. He could rip the starting job from Bibby eventually if he does well enough. (again, young talent)
I don't think they are bad investments, but speculative. Well, so is Yao Ming frankly. With a league our size, there are risks one way or another. About Blair, I think his limiting factor is Tiago Splitter, who is injured now but is a pretty good player.
Yeah I that's what I was afraid of with Wall. I think he'll have high TO rate as well. I sent the guy a trade request for Rondo. I'll see what he says.
He's a better defender than either of them. The comparison I heard is PJ Brown. But he's injured now, and Blair may well have the starting job and minutes cemented by the time Splitter returns.
Who should I start tonight in a default league that counts FGM and FTM Pick 2: Terrence Williams, Ben Gordon, Beasley, JJ Hickson Hurry before 6!
Gordon, Hickson. Hickson is obvious has will have a good FG%, but I'm torn between Gordon/Beasley. I don't yet know how well each will do. I think Gordon will have a better FG% though, and could just get hot or something.
Hey guys I have a question about Yahoo fantasy basketball, I'm a noob to it because this is my first year playing. I didn't want to make a new thread because I didn't think it was that crucial. Well here's my question, are we allowed to change our lineups everyday or just weekly like in fantasy football? And if we can change it everyday, if I sub out a player that played yesterday for a player that plays today, will I lose the stats for the player that played yesterday or will the stats from the player that played today and yesterday combine? Thanks guys!
You can switch it out every day. Your players get locked for that day when the game begins. If they're locked in your line-up, their stats for that day (or lack thereof) count. Taking 'em out the next day doesn't matter. It's a day-to-day thing.
Ok. I'm down in FGM by 7. Down by points by 4. Down by assists by 9. Down in steals by 2. I really want to win this week against my friend. Which 2 should I start out of this 4: -Terrence Williams (against Sacramento) -JJ Hickson (against Toronto) -Ben Gordon (against OKC) -Beasley (against Milwaukee)
Danny Granger is a complete stud so far. If he continues to stay healthy the rest of the year, he will have a better fantasy season then LBJ and Durant!
Tyreke Evans for Al jefferson???? I'm really tempted to grab Tyreke but my PF/C positions are not too good. I got Kaman, Biedrins, and Ibaka if I trade Jefferson. Should I accept?
Should I drop Marcus Thornton for Louis Williams or Daniel Gibson? I'd like to add some ast/stls, but will Lou Williams get enough minutes and offset the pts/3pt advantage by Thornton? Thanks!
Should I drop Baron Davis for Mike Bibby or Louis Williams? Baron is hurting my FG% and is not producing enough points or assists for me to want to keep him? If I drop him, which one of the PGs should I pick up? Also in another league. Should I start Louis Williams over DJ Augustine or Louis Williams? My main concern is if Louis Williams gets his minutes consistently.
I would do this and pick up Louis Williams. I remember an article that said the only reason LW doesn't start, although he is their best pg, is because he doesn't gel with the starting line up. He will still get his minutes I believe.
