    there must be at least a dozen police and a half dozen firetrucks in downtown right now, near main at mckinney.

    they have several city blocks barricaded.

    wtf is going on?

    Any amber lamps? Otherwise, could easily be a tripped fire alarm. In a big enough facility I think they have to be turned off by the FD; and if someone pulled it on purpose, that's probably arrestable. Could also be a gas leak. Or nothing even that drastic, the cops and barricading itself may just be for the firetrucks' benefit since you're in downtown on a Saturday night.

    It was my best guess. I was driving down Milam and looked to the left near McKinney and saw an ARMY of EMS, fire, police, rescue, etc.

    If it was a false alarm, half the city personel just made a trip to downtown for nothing.

    pretty sure Transformers 3 was filming down there yesterday. Because I was an extra on the DC shoot and there next stop was Houston.
