    Yao was born in China which is roughly 14 hours ahead so it is 9/12 over there so happy bday Yao.. damn he's getting OLD

    Idk if your trying to mimic that famous press conference speech but he was 40. I'm a man I'm 40!!! but for Yao damn time flies. I thought he was in his late 20's.

    In NFL once you hit 30's then its almost time to hang em up. I wonder how much gas Yao has left now that he is 30. Also with the foot injuries how much can he take.

    its kind of sad in a way. yao and the fans were cheated out of so many years, so many opportunities to advance in the playoffs. for all of his hard work, and he's such a nice guy on top of that, if anyone deserves success, its yao. i feel bad that at 30 years old he may only have about 5 years (give or take) left at elite performance. i'm saying this not as a rocket fan, but as a basketball fan... i really wish yao the best of luck over his remaining years as the rockets go "all-in" for a championship. the big guy deserves one.
