That doesn't even make sense, unless he thinks the Rockets are trying to sign Anthony as a free agent. Of course they can pay him if they do an extend-and-trade, which is what everyone's talking about.

Alex Kennedy is awful. He's wrong up to the last minute.
His sources also told him that LeBron was going to NY, a few hours before "The Decision". LeBron had planned all along to team up with Bosh and Wade, when both players announced Miami as their choice earlier.

Several sources indicated that James' advisors Maverick Carter and Randy Mims could be traveling to New York on Wednesday and sources have hinted that James will be joining them for the trip. Sources also said that Carter and Mims have been picking the Knicks' brains for details and information on their salary cap and free agent plans over the past few days.
