Some guys have talent but not the heart for the game to be the greatest (as the author of the article says, Bellamy even though he was a "a marginal Hall of Famer at best." could have been a lot better with a passionate fire for the game). People don't usually think about this, but some guys play pro sports not because they really like it, they are just really good at it and it makes them a lot of money. Like a job you might not really be passionate about but it really pays the bills well. Guys like Dolphins RB Ricky Williams. I am one of the few who likes learning the history of the game. Everyone can have an opinon, but to really know what you are talking about your have to study the history of the game. To help understand the present and future you should understand the history, I think. It puts everything in perspective. Thanks for the article.
this article is poorly edited, anyone noticed when it talks about him being traded from Baltimore, it doesn't mention who he was traded for, and then all of sudden it says something about someone named barnes being younger so it was a good trade for the Bullets
