    I would love nothing more than to see one of my favorite all time Longhorns basketball players in a Rockets uniform... but only if we're not willing to match Lowry's offer.

    yeah his contract is expiring... but his one year contract can almost pay Lowry to play TWO years!

    I'd take Ford and Granger for a Hill, Ariza, C-Bud, Jeffries deal.

    Go with this second unit:
    Ford
    Taylor
    Battier
    Patterson
    Hayes


    But alas, prolly a pipe dream.

    What Rockets fan wouldn't? Problem is, the Pacers wouldn't touch this deal. We'd have to give up more than that to get Granger.

    All I know is that T.J. Ford gives AB and Lowry the business. I've never seen a guard who just blows by each of them. I wouldn't mind having TJ backup AB. He's better offensively in our scheme than Lowry. However, and a big however, Lowry is a better rebounder and defender.

    If you look at the second unit with Shane, Jeffries, Chuck/Hill, TJ, and Bud. That's a decent defensive/offensive team.
