    It may be a little early for this thread because John Wall hasn't played in the NBA yet, but who do you think will be the better player in the long run.

    Again, I understand it's early but what do you think?

    wall is more of a shooter to me and rose is more of a take it to the basket guy.IMO rose.though both are No.1 picks .

    ASSUMING Wall lives up to the hype...

    I have to go with Wall. More gifted passer, more of a pure point than a combo guard. Ridiculous athletic ability. And I doubt that Wall will be as horrible as Rose is on defense. Turnovers might be a problem though.

    I will admit, I personally think that Rose is quite overrated.

    Wall with out a doubt.

    Wall is bigger faster, quiet possibly the better overall athlete.

    Not to mention Wall also has a better jump shot and court vision than Rose.

    I doubt Wall is more athletic than Rose, but that doesn't mean he isn't a better overall player. Wall has court vision and a jumpshot. That is a combination most PGs don't have.

    I think the only aspects that Rose is superior in are jumping ability and straight speed.

    Court vision, jumpshot, change of speed/direction, creativity, etc. are all in favor of Wall.
