(ESPN) Rockets Pitch to Bosh

    Houston Rockets GM Daryl Morey met with Chris Bosh on Thursday morning according to a tweet by Morey.

    "Just finished meeting with @chrisbosh - great player & person. He is about winning so I focused on how w/Houston he can win a championship."

    The Rockets have been targeting Bosh for months. Their pitch to Bosh is pretty straightforward. They believe he is a perfect fit with the existing talent they have on their roster and they can offer Bosh a return home to Texas.

    The Rockets will also stress that if Bosh joins the Rockets, they're likely a 60 win team. If he forms a trinity with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade in Miami, the Rockets believe the team won't have enough supporting talent to support a championship team. The Rockets believe such a pairing would produce a 45 win team.

    To land Bosh, the Rockets would have to work a sign-and-trade with the Raptors. The team could offer a players like Jordan Hill, Aaron Brooks and the expiring contracts of Jared Jeffries and David Anderson for Bosh.

    I'm sure Bosh/LeBron/Wade do get tired. Imagine if Bosh and/or Wade had an injury?

    JHill + Andersen + Jeffries + 2012 Knicks (top5 protected) + 2012 Rockets pick + cash..

    I have a question... how the heck is Miami able to afford wade,bosh, and lebron? 3 max guys? Even if they gut their roster?

    morey has said what the fans have been saying all along. the rockets role players won 42 games! bring back yao and that's 50+ easy. add bosh and we contend with the lakers atop the western conference, THIS YEAR.

    I like this trade. Andersen is basically an expiring also, because he makes like 180K in the 2011-12 season. I'd throw in the rights to Sergio Llull also.

    nah, that part just sounded speculative. "the rockets COULD offer" the writer is just putting a scenario together in order to flesh out the story.

    I think its all just speculation.

    JHill + Jeffires + Andersen + couple 1st rounders should get it done

    just dont trade Brooks or Budinger

    Brooks/Lowry
    Martin/Budinger/Taylor
    Ariza/Battier
    Bosh/Scola/Patterson
    Yao/Hayes/ free agent center
