    What the HELL ARE THESE LETTERS I can not read this crap

    I had a lot of trouble with that when retrieving my Youtube account information too. It's pretty ridiculous how illegible it can be.

    I had this same exact problem yesterday. That's what I get for always being signed on and deleting all my cookies, history, etc.

    Kidding, man.

    It's so that robots can't get into your account, and human eyes can, like Rockets1616 first said.

    Isn't there a button where you can press to "HEAR" the characters on the garbled image? From http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=90559 . :eek: Look for "verification." I am sure you can "hear" the sound instead if you're having trouble with the graphic.
