Michael Vick's 30th birthday party ended with shots fired.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick celebrated his 30th birthday in style at a Virginia Beach night club until shots were fired.

The shooting occurred outside the club, Guadalajara, around 2:10 a.m. Friday as the event was drawing to a close.

A fight broke out which escalated to somebody pulling a gun and non-fatally wounding a victim. The victim initially refused treatment, but eventually went to the hospital according to a WTKR-TV report.

While police have not released many details, they did state that the witness and victim were being “uncooperative.”

Although their attendance is unconfirmed, Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall, Indianapolis Colts safety Antoine Bethea and former NBA star (and Tidewater resident) Allen Iverson were scheduled to be there.

Vick is still on federal probation following release his from prison."

The man who was shot at Michael Vick’s 30th birthday party turned out to be a person who was involved in the Eagles quarterback’s dog fighting ring.

Quanis Phillips, the victim, was admitted to Sentera Virginia Beach Hospital this morning with non life-threatening injuries after he was shot outside the nightclub where Vick’s party was being held according to the Daily Press (via PFT).

The shooting occurred around 2:10 Friday morning.

Vick’s lawyer, Larry Woodward, told the Associated Press that his client was neither involved nor present at the time of the shooting.

Part of Vick’s probation states that he is not to supposed to be in the company of any of his co-defendants in the dog fighting case."

Anyone else not surprised?

Two different things. A lot of conclusions being made here, but it doesn't look good, that's for sure.

ESPN: Vick was not present and the the cops have "no interest" in talking to him.
