    It wouldnt be till 2011. If Sacramento drafts a big man like Monroe, which is likely, and he turns out to be a beast, it could make Landry expendible by the all-star break. However, that is probably not likely. They gave up Kevin Martin to get him so obviously they are pretty high on him.

    Why can't you guys face it, he's gone and he ain't coming back. We don't need him here, especially with Yao coming back and us probably drafting a big man this year. And why would we trade the highest 1st round pick we've had in a long time for someone drafted in the 2nd round?

    Actually, age is not the only factor to a player's ceiling. I loved having Landry in Houston and he's one of my favorite players. However, there's a few parts to Landry's game that was well hidden by the Rockets and is likely to be exposed with more minute. Post defense, defensive rebounding/box outs, outlet passes!! Also, Landry's biggest asset is his athleticism, which I would like to assume that it's all downhill from here.

    Either way, hope he does well.... and horrible thread title.
