Another moderate forced out of the Republican party

I'm starting to understand how he feels. You can thank the tea-baggers for that. And talk radio.

 

I actually think that the Tea Party movement, talk radio, and Faux "News" might end up getting me back into the ranks of the GOP. If they help to cause the conservative movement to implode with their ultra-conservative views, driving moderates to reassess what it means to be a Republican, they might actually figure out that governing from the middle in a nonpartisan manner is the way to go.

Until then, I will continue to lament the fact that I cannot be a member of the GOP because of the crazies.

 

I concur, the only thing preventing that would eb something major like finding out obama cheats on his wife or is gay

 

...because he is too "moderate."

 

All we can do is hope the tea party goes the way of the reform party soon. With Sarah Palin playing the part of Ross Perot.
