I think the NBA should make an award that is given to a player that was signed as a free agent or via trade that made a big difference. Jason Kidd would have gotten it last year. I call it the New Kid on the Block Award

I think that is a good idea, but it kinda is already there as executive of the year. I think Rod Thorn of the Nets won it last year, and it generally goes to the gm who made the best off-season sign/trade.

I think the NBA should create the "Juwan Howard Award" which is given out to the most business-savvy basketball player of the last post-season...
