here's who's in the big man camp...

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Cato is not at the Pete Newell Big Man camp does not equal Cato is being lazy this summer. I don't know what he's doing this summer, but I'm not going to make accusations because he's not learning from Pete this year.

 

r there any player from the rox team at the big man camp?? Isn't big man camp only for Centers only??

 

Look at the wily veteran Malik Rose showing up at this camp. And this is after signing his big contract too. What a warrior. Kelvin Cato, take notice. Remember this when 6'8" Malik is rebounding over you this season.

 

Knicks point guard Mark Jackson has/had a great "post up" game that really MADE (he's old now) him a really good offensive guard (in certain situations, never as the focus). A good post up game will teach a guard a high percentage shot. Late in games, the Pacers used to use Jackson almost like a center. When they had leads late in the game, they'd dump him the ball down in the post and more often than not he came through. If all 5 of your guys can create high percentage shots at the end of a game, you definately have the advantage. I think it's really beneficial for guards to go to big man camp.
