No, his games the past few days were mediocre as always.
    He needs more time.

Since we're already talking about Memphis, what happened to Hamed Haddadi? The guy was really good in the 2008 Olympics.

He showed some flashes. Looked great in that 1st quarter.

I don't know if it is because he is really that good or because he is over half foot taller than anybody on the opposing team.

Regardless, he did play well. I am surprised.

I want him on the squad. He's worth it purely for the pun value.

Still largely a bust. I'm perplexed as to why he was the #2 pick in the first place.

The gap between what Durant has accomplished and what Oden has accomplished through their first 3 seasons in the league should be attributed mostly to Oden's inability to stay healthy. Not that one is a high-scoring wing, and the other is a defense-oriented center.

I suppose, but he still makes a valid point the Grizzlies could have selected a dynamic PG that would have raised their team to another level instead of an undeveloped big man with a questionable motor. Seriously, in your own opinion, how far would Thabeet have fallen if the Grizzlies hadn't selected him? Personally, I think the Thunder, Kings, T-Wolves and Warriors would have passed on him and it's possible the guy could have slipped outside the top 10. In saying that, I don't remember how he was rated by conventional wisdom at the time. All I recall is thinking he wouldn't do well in the NBA and that the Grizzlies were completely nuts for choosing him #2.
