    Yes they can. I'm really torn right now over which team I should hate more, the Lakers or the Mavs.

    I believe they can. Good grief, how many players do they have, a hundred or so it seems. They have a very talented roster. I don't like them, but, yes, I can see them overtaking the Lakers. Then, of course, based on their history, the Eastern team will sweep them.

    Yes they can win the West and with that trade they are in a better position to come out the West but I don't think they will come out of the West.

    I thought it was so funny that people on this message board said that trade the Mavs made did not improve them.

    Most definitely. Who on the Lakers, assuming both teams advance that far barring injuries (as always), can guard Dirk? Pau? Bynum? Lol. I hate the Mavs, but I think are they second best team in the best.

    I hate to say it but this would be the only time I am rooting for Lakers. I take that back, would root for Lakers if the j*zz were involved. :mad:
