    It's more a battle between household names. I mean, more people know who Jason Kidd is over Aaron Brooks. Therefore Jason gets the nod.

    Why would AB decline anyway? If he had vacation plans with his family or whatever I'm sure they'd understand. It's not like Brooks is a 10 time all-star already, this would be his first all star game ever.

    As much as i would like to see Brooks in the ASG, do we really want Brook's agent to say "My client is an all-star" when it's time to pay up. This is great news for Morey.

    Question: why would AB turn down his 1st ever invitation to the AS game though? Wouldn't it be an honor?

    Edit - the way this year's AS game is unraveling its not so much of an honor, more of a joke.

    What a complete joke. Kidd is a third of what he used to, AB should have been voted. Oh well, i guess if theres a plus, its that our whole rockets squad can rest up and after the trade deadline, will hopefully try to make a playoff push with a revamped team!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:
