If women are allowed to play in the NBA, are men allowed to play in the WNBA?

    Serious question.

It's not even the physical difference that becomes a problem.

I mean would any real man back down on a woman? What happens if Yao or Shaq ran into a woman taking a charge. They could get seriously hurt and the players will feel seriously bad.

    +1

and allowing women into a men's league would render the wnba useless and it would be forced to disappear or merge with the D League.

Of course, women can play in the NBA. The key is if they can gey back to the level of play before micro-fracture surgery. :p

Seriously, I think Stern is just prepping everyone for Stacy's return in a few weeks.

I know here there was talk of Lauren Jackson playing in the NBL and the feeling was she could maybe hold her own as a shooter coming off the bench but they still doubted she could do it. If they think one of the top 5 female players in the world can't do much in the Australian league which is ordinary compared to most I can't really see them making the NBA anytime soon.
