77-50, Mavs over the nets, at the half.

The Mavs are shooting 80.6% from the field, 87.5% behind the arc and 100% from the line.

They also scored 49 points in the 2nd quarter.

I wonder if that 80.6% from the field for a half is a record.

They are just hitting everything. Unbelievable...and New Jersey after keeping it close early are now bound to 18? straight losses.
Does anyone watch the Knicks? Why does Gallinari always look uninterested?

I didn't mean to type Nets in lower case letters but I decided not to edit it because it seems appropriate.

I got home late from work. Will someone please tell me how the Cavs got up 57-29 at halftime on the Suns?

In another offensive game, the Hawks have 110 on the Raptors through three quarters.

    Actually, it's 114.

They went 33, 42 and 39 in the first 3 quarters. Wow!

    I wouldn't say that.

I went to the game last night and he had a career night, 20 points in the first half, draining 3's, even a couple of highlight film blocks of Stoudemire.

He always seems to be working hard to be in the right spots on offense and defense.

Yeah he can shoot the 3 real good too. I have him on my fantasy team and he had a career night yesterday, but it seems like he never sprints back on D or anything. Most of the time he doesn't box out. On certain plays he'll move around, but he camps out at the three a lot.

Jennings' FGM/FGA (3PM/3PA) over the last 6 games:

    6-21 (0-2)
    4-15 (1-3)
    3-11 (2-3)
    7-22 (4-7)
    5-15 (3-4)
    7-21 (2-8)

That's 30.5%, overall, 25.6% from inside the arc and 44.4% from beyond it over that stretch.

His FG% for the season dipped down to 42.8% before tonight's game but he was shooting 50% from behind the arc. Once those 3 balls stop going down, like tonight, he may find himself in Rafer-esque territory in terms of FG%.

His shot was considered a weak point coming in but that concern diminished with his hot start. Fortunately for him, he has true PG skills and good hands on defense so even if he turns out to be a subpar shooter, he'll still bring other things to the table. He also seems to have pretty good form so there's no reason to think he won't be able to improve as a shooter.

The NBA adjusted to Jennings and now it's his turn. If he's truly got game, he'll be fine.

Is Joey Crawford calling this game for the Thunder? Methinks so.

The Craptors SUCK, they are by far the biggest bunch of pansies EVER. Hugo Turkaglo is an average player, I had never really watched a full game of this guy when he was with Orlando, he needs to be on a good team to be effective, or else he's garbage. Not worth even half of the 50 Mil he got.

Oh yes and Chris Bosh, geez this guy will NEVER learn how to play D, I don't know if it's that he doesn't give a crap, but he really looks like he can't guard anyone....ANYONE!!! He worked on getting bigger above the waist, but I think it's his base that's the problem. I wish he had Yao's tree trunk legs.....also it appears this guy tried so hard to up his numbers this year that he's now out of gas. He's mentioned that he has an issue with not being mentioned with the likes of Wade and Lebron  ...both those guys know how to make their teams better, CB4 doesn't. I would trade his panzy ass for Hayes straight up. Both teams solve an issue.

Bosh did the same thing last season, right? Started out playing like an MVP candidate and didn't keep it up. It's like once he realizes the Barney's still won't be any good he stops putting out.

Bosh can't be the alpha male of a contender. He will leave Toronto and needs to pair up with another star player who can handle the lead-dog role.

I don't think it's the losses that cause him to give up, I just don't think he's got the strength to keep it up, game in game out. I agree with your assessment though, he's not a franchise player, he needs someone else to lead. Just very frustrating to be a Raptor fan right now, waited so long for this team to be good.

Also I thought Bargnani would take a step foward this season, but coach hasn't been running plays for him, rookie head coach.

If Mcgreedy hadn't left we would have had atleast one title, he was wrong to think he wouldn't get HIS with VC on the team.

I agree, inability to go hard on D is caused by deficiencies below the waist. Just ask Tracy McGrady.
