going to keep Wilcox & Ely, and Rose will probably stay in SA, KTs trade value probably went through the roof. The Power Forward FAs this year are all 11 & 4 guys except Rose, and KT is probably the only 14 & 7 PF who's team is already stocked with PFs.

What to do: The Rockets best bet is to trade KT for a SG who can help Mobley out. Especially now that Nachbar is out for the summer (groin injury), which could be a problem during the season. A trade for a SG who can add some bench scoring and can play some D would make this the most productive offseason in a while.

Nachbar's injury is minor. We do not need to trade.

KT for Michael Redd. 2 very good players whos contracts would match so no additions would be needed.

I think KT can fetch far more than Michael Redd. Maybe KT and Jason Collier for Michael Redd and a future first rounder.

Even if MoT's not 100% (which he won't be at first), we have Griffin. The point is Francis and Mobley cannot play 45 minutes a game (like last season), they need rest. We need someone who we can put in for Mobley and not lose too much.

I wish there was some way we could get Jim Jackson with some of the exception money. He is a veteran and a stand up guy who our young players can learn a thing or two from. Also shot over 40% from the three point line the last two seasons. He'd be a perfect backup for Cuttino.

I don't think they will trade KT until the season is rolling. I think they need to know something about Taylor first.

I like the way you think. If we get rid of KT we better get some serious production from who ever we recieve and Desmond would give us some serious versatility at the 2-3.

All that said I don't think the Sonics will bite. But I like the idea.
