    I checked it out. Single sounds real good. Sounds a lot like something from "Californication". RHCP 4 life.

    I bought it, I really like it. Its better than Californication was to me, but they are very similar.

    every time by the way comes on the radio, i can sing it totally perfectly with anthony keidis. the same was true when they played otherside. i think we have the same voice, singing wise. i dont have a lisp when i talk though...now i need some more tats and ill be all set

    Anyone else think the Peppers have gone seriously downhill since the mid-90's? Californication... Wussification. They just don't seem to rock like they used to. Is there any hope this time?

    Though I love their older stuff. Some drunk girl came up to me in a bar and told me I looked like Anthony Kiedis. (this is probably because I have the same hair as he used to have... before he chopped it off, big mistake...) Well, we've all seen Anthony Kiedis mostly naked and he and I don't wear the same bra size (not even close). :)

    I bought it today, along with the new counting crows album. I like the new chili peppers album, but it is very much following in the same direction as Californication. More harmony based, to say the least.

    I have yet to listen to all of it, but thus far it's good, but hardly anything i'd describe as exceptional or must-have.

    Lots of power ballads on this record. Not much thumpin'

    I have a feeling its one of those records that grow on you after a few listens (at least I hope so).

    I was so hoping for a return to "freaky Styley" form. :(

    I'm not sure I like the direction they are heading. If I want power pop, I'll listen to the backstreet boys!

    Come on guys! Bring back the Funk!!!
