Not surprised to see this is a Blinebury piece, but on the other hand I actually agree with most of it.

Agree with 100% of the article.

Fran got a little to grumpy in his last years at the Chronicle but he was always on point about McGrady.

I think its mostly fair, though I don't remember McGrady saying "It was never on me" after the Utah series.

He basically did by being sarcastic about the whole deal.

Is it weird that the only thing I got out of that piece is that Fran started writing about sports the year I was born?

    ;)

    I kid.

Like someone above me said, most of that stuff I agree with. I wonder if those teammates who felt betrayed still feel that way. We have a lot of new faces but the core is still here. I guess like any other job, you just get over it and do what you have to do.

He's worse than Charles Barkey's defense.

Doesn't matter if I agree with him somewhat about Tracy because Fran has always rubbed me the wrong way. He's a bitter, out of shape beat writer that states the obvious.

It's like....don't rag on Tracy anymore, he's ours to rag on....we don't need your fat fingers to help.

People should lay off Fran. There's no need to kill the messenger.
