    He definitely has dunked as a Rocket, but you just never see him throw it down like that.

    I don't know if chuck hayes has ever thrown one down in a regular season game but at the Rockets open practice he threw down a reverse dunk.

    This is what makes it impossible to know.

    I'm a 5'9" white guy and nobody would think I could dunk just by looking at me. But the truth is, I can actually dunk fairly easily.

    I've still never been remotely close to doing it in a game situation.

    You have serious hops. I'm 5'9" and probably can't touch the rim right now and in my prime I barely could. I hate you.

    I'm 5'8. I consider grazing the rim an achievement. I'm more of the I can touch the backboard kind of guy. Doesn't help that I have tiny hands and can't palm the ball.

    Knowing that wasnt Earl Boykins, I'm doubting the validity of seeing Mugsy Bogues dunking even. He never dunked as a pro. And there's only anecdotal accounts of him being a typical tennis ball dunker.

    On a similar note almost as speculative, I thought I saw JJ Barea do a dunk in a vid clip one time. I'm going go ahead and claim he can.

    I was partially responsible for guarding JJ Barea during a pickup game at Lifetime Fitness in Allen, Texas following the 2007-2008 season. He dunked the ball in that game while I was chasing him from behind and trying to scare him into thinking I was going to undercut him. It didn't work, obviously. He is super quick and has hops.
