When I go to visit my in-laws in Los Angeles, I always see grading posters hanging in EVERY eating establishment. The grades are displayed in typical letter fashion. If your restaurant received a good inspection, you will receive an A card, which is to be displayed somewhere where everyone can see it. Obviously, if you've received a C or below, people will probably not want to eat at your restaurant. I think Houston needs this type of grading system that requires each restaurant to display their most recent inspection mark. Forget Marvin Zindler and all of the other copy-cat slimey ice machine reports...I want to know about the restaurant that I'm about to go into...not one located on the other side of Houston.
