What online site do you use to store some gifs/jpgs when you post them here? I used to use Geocities but you can't use pics from there on another site.

there are hardly any free sites that allow you to link to images anymore....

I use my personal webspace, http://www.groovehouse.org

it's only 10 bucks a month and I get virtually unlimited bandwidth.
there are some hosting sites out there that are less, if you search hard enough...

i, too, use my personal web space... www.g-sports.net

its hosted by netfirms... if you don't mind the SLOW cust. serv. its an overall quality place to store files and host sites.

I use netfirms. You need one of those FTP programs, but once you know how to use them, it's easy.

yoursighost.com lets you use three pics for each username.

I have my own domain and I run a webserver off of my PC - I use Dynu DNS Client to keep my IP updated since I am on DSL. I have all the webspace I need and it doesn't cost me anything extra. :)

Sonny, your ISP doesn't mind? Setting up a webserver from your home isn't that difficult, but the problem is when you start getting a lot of traffic. Most ISP's say that you're not allowed to run a server using your account (like AT&T for example... arrggg). My previous DSL provider allowed me to run a server from home, but then they decided to stop serving the consumer and instead focused on corporate accounts...

I used to run a ftp server off of my PC, but i was getting to many "port scanners" invading p21, that i finally shut it down... ZA pro was picking up too many people trying to access my machine and i just wasn't comfortable with the idea anymore.

well DOD, what they (SouthWestern Bell DSL) don't know won't hurt them.

It is not like my site gets a lot of traffic, 10 hits per week won't piss too many ISP's off. :)

Sonny...you have a rather eclectic selection of sports teams you're a fan of...

Nice ride. Once I get my finances right I'm going hunting for one myself...

Thanks GB! Don't ask me why I like the Bears/Orioles/BlackHawks, I just do... born and raised in Texas.
