    What was the hardest part about being accepted into Rice. Was it the GPA? The tuition? The wait? I am intrested in Rice U so I am just a little curious. :)

    Well, it's not the tuition. Rice is very generous when it comes to financial aid. That is one of the ways Rice attracts the top talent. Those that can't afford or aren't willing to shell out the $$$ for the Ivy's end up at Rice many times. GPA, SAT scores, leadership and involvement in activities all play into the decision.

    I'm not sure if they still have it on the application or not, but there is a box that you have to fill in using your creativity. It's just a blank box that you have the choice to fill in however you'd like. I think that it's just there for the admissions people to get a good laugh. I know people that glued food to it and were accepted.

    i think rice has the highest suicide rating for any university.
    not that that has to do with anything...
    i really wish i had tried in high school.
    ive been banished to st eds after two years of CC.
