Well I got the itch to make another Rockets mix last week, and despite not really having the time for it, I made one anyway. The "storyline" is about Yao missing the season and the Rockets bringing in fresh blood to continue the fight. Thus the title, "Never Say Die". I chose to include only new players because we've already seen our old players' highlights over and over, and it would have taken significantly more time. I also chose not to use preseason footage because I may end up using that for another mix down the road. Click HERE if you would like to download the video to your computer. Be sure to un-check the little box under the Download Now button or you'll get an advertisement. I hope you guys like it and as always, feedback (both good and bad) is encouraged. Hell yeah!! 50,60,70 losses who cares, this will forever be my team and I will watch and support them till I'm 6 feet deep!! Awesome video!! I can't wait until the real season starts!!
Loved it! Nothing like seeing the new guys this way to get you juiced for the new season. And damn, AIR BUD!!!
Good stuff man. I'm going to put this on our fantasy hoops league page (proper credit given of course).
By the end of the video I was hoping there would be a transition to them in their Rockets video, I saw it done for a Team USA video, of the NBA players in their NBA uniforms, then *flash* a clip of them in almost the exact same pose but in their USA uniform. It was a great video nontheless.
This is an excellent Vid! The only thing that would have set it apart is if you put highlights of the preseason towards the end of your mash-up when they are in Rockets gear.. Like a transition from the old to new.
I've never seen such marginal players set to such dramatic music. Why are Rockets fans such drama queens now? I don't recall people making heavy metal mixclips of Eldridge Recasner and Othella Harrington back in the day.
