    Lions just won their first game in a very long time

    Red Wings made it to the Stanley Cup and lost in 7, won it all in 08

    Pistons suck now but they made the ECF for 5 consecutive seasons or so

    Michigan State got blasted in the Final.

    The city has had political scandal after political scandal.

    The automotive industry is in shambles and creating a huge unemployment rate (17%).

    I think the city could use something to cheer for right about now.

    Baker's having serious issues. Several games this year he'll just hit a wall. He'll pitch well for a few innings, then suck thereafter. I should know; he was on my fantasy team.

    It appears he has hit the wall this game. Minnesota should yank him soon.
