    For some odd reason, the Expos have the best home record in baseball. Maybe teams play best in empty stadiums?

    so much for the, "let's go create a home field advantage for our team" from the fans!! goes to show how worthless that is in baseball...

    How does this apply to the Astros, Comets, or Texans, except that they have a better home record than the Astros. :D

    I think that there is some obscure clause written in every baseball collective barganing agreement that says baseball is required to have a work stoppage whenever the Expos compete for a division title...

    BTW, considering what the Expos gave up for Bartolo Colon, is there any reason to think that the Astros couldn't have made a better deal? Whiteman + a couple minor-league arms would have been equivalent, and would have gotten us another #1 starter and innings-eater for a modest $6M per year.

    Brandon Philips is one of the top prospects in the entirety of baseball.

    Tommy Whiteman, while skilled, isn't.
