Do these actually work? I would like to add some inches to my vertical. http://www.eastbay.com/product/mode...upercat=equipment&cm=54664&id=54664&mvp=sport
While they do work to an extent, you'll do yourself a better favor by seriously training your lower body. Do not look to Air Alert however, as theyve been known to give knee problems. Its almost arbitrary leg workouts lumped together with arbritrarily set reps. I've heard AA4 has improved on that. The best thing to read would be the Vertical Jump Bible by Baggett. It sells for a lot on amazon, even used, but PDFs are easily found online. Not only does it provide leg workouts of either body/iron weights for beginners to athletes, it's a worthwhile read just to read up on jump mechanics and strength building.
