Okay, I know this is a longshot, but I thought I would give it a try. I have seen now in the last couple of days a video by Chicago called "Stay the Night" once in almost its entirety and now today as it was ending. This was back when Peter Cetera was still in the group and was off their "Chicago 17" CD which would make it around 1985 when it came out. I actually remember the video quite a bit when the song was popular. Anyway, the video is about Cetera and the rest of the band chasing after this absolutely stunning brunette who is driving some old red car like a Torino or something. They (Cetera and friends) are chasing after her in an old Chevy or Ford blue truck that looks like it is from the '60s. There is some pretty unrealistic driving on the woman's part, but in the end Cetera seriously hurts himself in chasing after her and has to go to the hospital. As he lays there in agony in the ambulance, the driver is revealed to be the same woman he is chasing after. The question is who is this woman?? Was she some kind of actress or a model or a girlfriend of one of the bandmembers, etc.? She looks like Alannah Myles (if anyone remembers who she was) but even better. Also sorta similar looking to Sherilyn Fenn and Mitzi Kapture but I know it is not one of them. Like I said I know this is a longshot because they are probably less than 20 people here who even know what in the hell I'm talking about. But maybe Jeff, Mrs. JB, or someone else will know.
Thanks Bob! That is the next best thing if no one knows the answer here. I have asked the question there, so maybe I'll get an answer. Thanks again.....
Well, my question has finally been answered!! Someone at that Chicago site told me that woman was Barbi Benton, a Playboy playmate of the '70s and one of many of Hugh Hefner's girlfriends. Here is a picture of what she looked like that I think is close to the same period of the "Stay the Night" video:
Barbi Benton!??!! I didn't know she had a stint in music videos. Manny, you need to get some old Playboys -- you can see a WHOLE LOT of Ms. Benton's charms. She and Hef were really an item in the late sixties.
