An Expiring Contract Swap That Could Allow Us to make the Playoffs This Year

    Man, Jermaine O'Neal is the one guy who is more injury prone than Yao/Tmac...if we trade, we should go after young talent.

    Besides, Jermaine O'Neal hasn't had anything left to contribute since 2004.

    He's never shot over 50% as a 6'11 post up center/power forward in his career. So I doubt that he does anything now.

    o neal is garbage, a midseason healthy tmac and his contract are more valuable

    you tell us, what do we get out of making it to the playoffs and 0% chance of winning it all?

    Man tell me this.....Why do we need to make the playoffs this year when we have about ZERO chance of advancing......?? Why?

    I would rather this be a "rebuilding" year, while getting a very good player in the draft next year; and then compete next year with hopefully a fully recovered Yao, a more seasoned Ariza, our sophmore guards we drafted this year, A quality Lotto Draftee, a financially restructured TMac(I'm talking like 3-4 mill.per), AND a quality FA or two from our cap space treasure chest.

    Then I'm ready to compete!! :cool:
