    Not good news about the Puma...INJURIES SUCK!

    JeromeSolomon Zachary Levine: Lance Berkman is out 2-3 days. (Available to pinch-hit though.) MRI reveal a Grade 2 strain of left calf

    I think with our top 2 going in the next two games we can more then survive but I dont want to go without him for much more of the homestand.

    It's unfortunate that Berkman won't be able to do anything but pinch-hit for the rest of this important series but the greater concern would be if he somehow made the strain worse and missed a lot of time. I hope they don't rush him back or he doesn't rush himself back.

    Agree, I think we will be fine without him for the rest of this series and if it only last 2 to 3 days we should have him back for the Mets series...

    Puma was knocking the crap out of the ball yesterday despite the calf.

    Maybe he'll come up with a big pinch hit or two while he is recovering.
