I turned to the show last night, the episode where the computer killed a kid to start with, and I slept before the show ended.

Great ending to the season. This show is one of the best on television. I am a HUGE Lost fan, but this is a very close second favorite right now.

I always figured something was up with Peter
    but
    I just figured Walter had experimented on him . . . .
so him being from the otherside was a bit of a surprised
still don't rule out Walter [either this one or the other one] experimenting on him
[which would be why walter felt it was ok to steal him . . . also . .the original peter's death maybe the cause of walter's breakdown]

alot of good opportunities and ways for them to go

Just finished the Finale last night. I love the direction the show is going in. and Leonard Nimoy as William Bell is an epic win!

    Cant wait for season 2.

Me too. Finally caught up on all episodes last night.

    It's relatively enjoyable.

(though not NEARLY as good as X-files was)

Be fair, compare Season One of X-Files to Season One of Fringe, no contest.

It took X-Files a while to find itself and a following. Fringe emerged as a fully-realized thing from the get-go.

The real question is, can they sustain it. Based on the success of Lost (which I have never seen any episode other than the very first one), it appears that they can. Let's hop so.
