ok guys, get ready for this...I've loved Heavy Metal/Hard Rock since I was about 10..so I have ALOT of favorites. So with that being said here's my late entry in no particular order.

Iron Maiden: Killers, # of the Beast, Piece of Mind, Brave New World, Powerslave, Live After Death, Seventh Son
Judas Priest: British Steel (Metal Gods and Grinder and Breakin the law, breakin the law), Stained Class, Screaming For Vengeance (Hellion/Electric Eye rule!), Hellbent for Leather.
    Scorpions: Animal Magnetism, Blackout, Lovedrive
AC/DC: If You Want Blood, Dirty Deeds (Big Balls!!)Back in Black
Queensryche: their first four albums absolutely rock my world.
Skid Row: Skid Row, Slave To the Grind ( you can't be king of the world if you're a slave to the grind!)
Van Halen: Fair Warning and the first album
WASP: their first album and the EP with F*ck Like A Beast on it
Ozzy: Blizzard of Oz, Diary of a Madman(Randy Rules!), and Bark at the Moon
Sabbath: Paranoid, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Born Again
Metalliclaw: Kill Em All and Master of Puppets
Megadeth: Rust in Peace, Peace Sells, Symphony of Destruction(hello me, meet the real me)
Thin Lizzy: Jailbreak, Live and Dangerous
Pantera: Vulgar Display of Power, Cowboys from Hell
Anthrax: Armed and Dangerous, Among the Living, Spreading the Disease.
    Yngwie: Trilogy
Dream Theater: Awake, Images and Words
    Fates Warning: No Exit, Parallels
Savatage: Dungeons are Calling, Hall of the Mountain King, Sirens
    Deep Purple: Machinehead, Perfect Strangers
Rainbow: Richie Blackmore's Rainbow, Straight Between The Eyes
    Dio: Holy Diver
    King Kobra: King Kobra
Kiss: Destroyer, Love Gun, Alive II
    Halford: Insurrection
    Quiet Riot: Metal Health
    Warlock: Triumph and Agony

Depending on your definition of heavy metal, I could add probably another 20 bands. but Ill leave it as is. As you can tell, I go for a mix of heavy with some progressive metal.

    Up the Irons!
    :D

I'm not reading any of the other posts so the won't influence my choices, so here goes.

    Pantera - Cowboys from Hell
    Fight - War of Words
    Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction
Suicidal Tendencies - almost any CD before their greatest hits release
Metallica - Kill em All(OOP version), Master of Puppets
    Ozzy - any Ozzy
    Iron Maiden - 7th Son of a 7th Son
Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime(this CD is great!)
Danzig - Danzig III - How the Gods Kill
Marilyn Manson - definitely the last 3 regular releases and some of the older stuff.

IMO all of these CD's are good from start to finish. I could name quite a few more, but have to get back to work.
