I have to speak out in this thread because IMF putting the wackest rapper of all time (with the possible exception of Ja-Rule) Cam'ron on his top 5 is a laugh riot times 100000. Double-rhyming nonsense does not make you a good rapper. Neither does wearing pink shirts. Worst. Rapper. Ever.

"I got a list, heres the order of the list thats its in... It goes Reggie, Jay-z, Tupac and Biggie, Andre from Outkast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me" - Marshall Mathers

1.) Lesane Parish Crooks aka Tupac Amaru Shakur
    2.) Nasir "Nas" Jones. ( Illmatic > * )
3.) Christopher Wallace / Shawn Carter (Basically the sound of NYC)
    4.) Eminem
5.) Del the Funkee Homosapien (for you mother****ers who didn't know... Hieroglyphics and formerly Gorillaz)

    No particular order:

Nas, Pac, Hova, Talib, BIG, Em, Dre, Andre3000

And if somebody tries to put some fool like 50 Cent in this list, oh my damn, I will get irritated.

Tupac is alone in a whole different stratosphere.. so basically:

    1) TUPAC

    .
    .
    .
    .
    .

    2)Biggie
    3)Snoop Dogg
4)Ice Cube (or NWA as a whole)
5)3-way tie between GZA*, Mos Def, and DMX

*insanely underrated, please google "on the eve of war" and listen to his verse, possibly one of the best of all time..

I like Nas, but he's way too overrated.. I'm a big eminem fan, but you pretty much don't know anything about "rap" if you put him in your top 5.. don't get me wrong, he's awesome, but a guy who raps about Michael Jackson and little kids isn't in the same class as the ones mentioned above ..

Vinnie Paz (AKA-Ikon the Hologram) has the best rapping voice of all.. I also freaking love DMX, but I couldn't put him on top of any of the ones I mentioned..

Dre is the greatest beat-producer of all time, and the Chronic is the best album of all time..

Del is seriously legit. His delivery, combined with the type of beats his groups use is classic
