They lost to the Sixers in 7 right

Yeah, I wasn't too thrilled to see Iverson and Co getting trashed so easily after game 1

    Exactly...

Offensively, the Bucks would've been a much tougher challenge for the Lakers.

But, they were very average defensively and undisciplined, like alot of Karl teams.

The 1983-84 through the 1986-87 Philadelphia 76ers. After winning it all in dominating fashion, the Sixers failed to return to the NBA finals while maintaining a core of Mo' Cheeks, Dr. J, and Mo Malone. Made all the more striking by the addition of Charles Barkley in the 1984-85 season. Larry Legend had a little something to do with it though.

Actually, the Celtics only beat them (with Moses) once during that stretch in the playoffs. 76ers by the time, were mostly put out in the 1st round ( by the Bucks or Nets. For some odd reason, their biggest struggle at that point was Nelson's Buck teams.

    I did say a "little" something. :p
Mostly it was that Chuck was not in his prime yet and Mo and Dr. J were well past it after the first year or so together. I believe they made the conference semis one year, the conference finals one year, and were one and done twice in that four year stretch.
