    my observation from watching tourneys for the last 100 years of my life....

    it's ok if the team you didn't pick starts running away with a big lead early, because it always seems to be erased (except in 1/16 matchups).

    way too early.

    usually the second half kills a lot of these 14-16 they just dont have the talent and depth to play a 40 minute game against the powerhouses

    whose job was it to stagger these games? because they've done a crappy job. we're all at the after 16:00 timeout in the 2nd half for some reason and they won't switch to pittsburgh.


    and just as i say that, they switch. still a lot of close games that could end at the same time, not good.

    edit: i need dayton to hold on and then i would have my 11 and 12 seed picks both be right. and pitt losing would kill my bracket but would presumably hurt everyone's so no big deal. when i read pitt's info bubble on yahoo it said they were good at offense which i had a hard time believing and am now having an even harder time believing. this barely even feels like an upset just watching the 2 teams.

    Either Pitt is terrible or ETSU is really good.

    This doesnt seem like a standard lopsided upset. ETSU is just matching Pitt athletically and winning all the stats (rebounding, etc..) that a #1 seed should be dominating.

    Plus Pitt just looks tired and sluggish. Even if they win, this looks much worse than Memphis and Cal-State.

    this is like watching the rockets try to rebound against the jazz. it's like they have 8 6'11 guys out there going for every ball. can't believe pitt screwed up after going up 8.

    I know NDST lost, but I was impressed by Ben Woodside. VERY quick first step and separation ability off the dribble. NOT just another white kid who can only shoot.

    Damn WVU for screwing up my bracket but I wasn't totally surprised by the result-even though I picked WVU to beat them in ALL of my brakets :(
