Tattoo

Not tats, no piercings. I've GREATLY increased my tolerance of tattoos, used to have a Zero-Tat standard. If 6 out of 7 people agree to get them (which deep down is what the influence is about) nothing I can do about it. And I cant narrow my options down that much without going to church.

Ironically I think if you get one might as well get a few more. Its like a basketball jersey with 1 pinstripe, or those all white pee wee football helmets with numbers on just 1 side. The canvas isnt blank and solid anymore. You've already added content on the billboard. Might as well accentuate the advertisement some more.

 

I don't know how to say this, but.....that wasn't rain.....

 

Why does one have to be making a statement for or against conformity by getting a tattoo?? Maybe they just wanted one because they think it looks cool.....I don't have any, but a lot of the people I know do, and none of them are trying to make a statement. They just like the way tattoos look on them.

 

ive also kinda grown to accept tats also. well tats on the arm and the guy really nice arms. i dont like leg tats at all. the ones on the neck is very unprofessional.IMO
if i had to get 1 it will be where no one can see it.
i have 5 piercings in counting. 4 in my ears. tongue done twice. the first time i got it done i let it close. got it redone.
want more i just dont know where. pretty sure its gonna be more in the ears.

I have some tats, but its more for hiding scars for me....and my third nipple.

 

Got some...don't regret it...maybe will get more later when I find some space

 

Haha! 4 of the 6 deacons I've had at our church have tattoos... And many of the women folk do too, including a current deacon's wife!

I'm in a similar boat with my gf. She has two, and wants a third on her neck.....I'm against it.

 

The only thing I wouldn't like is for my girlfriend/wife to have an exposed tattoo. When at a formal event and wearing a dress, I think it looks tacky for a woman to have an exposed tattoo.

 

I have never understood tattoos and the need to get them but like RMTex said, to each their own, I guess. If someone does feel the need to have one, I would prefer they wouldn't get one on their face like Carly Smithson's husband. Also, I don't know why but I am really turned off when I see an attractive woman or girl (like Carly or Megan Corkkrey) with a huge tattoo on their arm. Gross.

 

I get some strange looks everytime I'm involved in a Bar fight.
