"70 MPH or higher" has 73% of the vote.

    Ridiculous.

Everyone on I-10 is still going 80. If I try to go 60 I almost get run off the road. Dumb speed limits...

Does anyone know what percentage of emissions comes from cars? I'm betting that industry puts out several times as much but I guess it's easier to screw up with every day people than to bite the hand that pays for your political office.

What does he care? He doesn't get tickets regardless of how fast he, or his aide, is driving.

This is a great idea, but I don't see how Gov. Perry has anything to do with it.

Wrong, NOx breath! :) From the EPA website:

    More good info on NOx:

For the record, I operate four boilers that must be monitored continuously for NOx emissions. In fact, all these boilers will be shut down in 2003 because of the new EPA NOx standards. If anyone drives Hwy. 225 past the Shell plant in Deer Park, you will notice all the new construction. This is a new co-gen plant being built, which will have 8 low-NOx boilers to replace the ones currently in use. Industry is doing it's part as well.
