The only reform I'd like to see is voting for the actual positions instead of the catch-all guard and forward options.

that would be racist as hell. You know the majority of black players wouldn't vote for Yao or Dirk, or any nonblack player.

I think had one point the Pistons had 3 or maybe even 4 All-Stars.

I remember they put them all in at one point, pretty entertaining.

But is it fair that a fan votes multi times through internet?

man, if just there's an NBA player my country Indonesia, he will certainly be a starter due to the 220mil population here.

I never like a system where fans vote to decide something like this. Fans are biased as they can be and will always turn into a popularity contest. It would be fair for the players if the NBA have some judges that will decide all the players worthy of a ASG roster spot.

Are you implying that the majority of black NBA players are racists? How did you come to that conclusion?

eh, if shaq got enough crazy fans, those fans would vote for him hundreds times, too. and we don't know whether that has happened for shaq or any other player, either.

Maybe there is "Chinese influence" ,but i don't think ides like limit online voting is right. The only reason you want it is China have so many people and they have so much passion on NBA. Do not forget people pick the man they want to see not the man play best. Look it:Gilbert Arenas (Wash) 403,577.
I'm from China and my picks like this:
west: kobe, paul, duncan, ron, yao
one time i pick shaq not yao because i like him.
east: wade(or harris), iverson(every time), KG, james, howard

PLEASE.. Don't vote any Rockets player to the all-star game, including Yao.

Let them take that week off and recover.

I would rather see them healthy in the playoff run.

Naaa, Tracy, Yao and Ron should all get in. They can rest next summer. What's a couple of days going to do to them anyway?

Besides, Tracy will need to play more time in order to get back into shape. And not to mention that it will do good to his confidence and ego. :)

I haven't checked but aren't u only allowed to vote once per day?

There is no way to track how many times people vote but obviously there are more celtic and lakers fans than rockets but were still up there.

Yeah, because the West coach wouldn't be able to make substitutions, the Rockets 3 players would have to play all game. I'll take my chances with Artest, McGrady and Yao in the lineup.

Exactly, I'd love to hear that. Nevermind the fact that many of the black players, like Allen Iverson and Ron Artest, have praised Yao and called him one of the elite players in the league. Or that black former players voted for Brent Barry as a slam dunk champion. I'd love for rocketman1979 to explain why he thinks black players in the NBA are racist.
