    What is the best gift you gave this Christmas?

    I would say just a rubber ball for my niece as it made her happy.

    Not for X-Mas, but for one of my closest friend's birthdays.
    A Vince Carter jersey i got for my friend who's a Nets freak. Worth $120+tax Canadian.
    Don't want to sound like a slouch, but i'm still waiting for something equal in value in return. haha

    For my wife - a necklace with 4 small pearls in a pea pod. We're expecting our 2nd child next June to make it 4 peas in a pod...

    For my son - Toby the Tram Engine (Thomas the Train stuff). He got a ton of toys, but this is the one that made him the happiest.

    I'm staying at my parents' place for Christmas... and I gave them a Blu-ray player.

    I waited until they went to bed and set it up in the living room. Then when we opened presents in the other room, I had them unwrap their Blu-rays last. Of course they looked all confused and asked whether I had brought my PS3 so they could watch these... and I told them they better check the living room.

    It was pretty sweet. Best gift I think I've given and also best reaction. They were completely blown away.
