I think Baylor has already done the damage on national TV.

The OU ass raping of # 2 Tech doesn't look so impressive.

So at best you'd have offsetting penalties and replay the down or move Tech back 5 yards and replay down. Given how they've been moving the ball the 2nd half, Tech probably scores anyway.

Those two calls that took away the to's are absolute killers. Bu isn't good enough to keep overcoming calls like that.

That being said, Tech is a joke. I thought a team with a chance to play for the Big 12 title would show more heart.

    UT deserves to go.

Regardless of the outcome, I can't wait to see Baylor in about 2 years when Griffin has honed his skills.

This works both ways though. OU's win looks less impressive, but our loss looks worse too. With the amazing coverage of the 45-35 campaign, I'm more hopeful that we'll get some voters on our side - but the computers really made things that much worse with Missou and Colorado losing and Kansas/Colorado winning. Bleh.

    Again.

Texas Tech is the luckiest team on the planet, from the officials to now Griffin. How can a guy that's been so brilliant for three quarters just lock up like that, twice in three plays?

If you think this game Tech got lucky you should have seen the Nebraska game....Tech was dominated by them, and should have lost.

I have been saying it all year...Tech is just not an elite team....they had a good year...but they are 2nd tier at best.

i'm not sure people think this out nearly as much as we do here....do pollsters really think this thing out 3 games? OU beat Tech...and Tech almost lost to Baylor...so UT doesn't look as good for beating OU? man, that crap is silly. these are 18-22 year old kids...the teams look different from week to week for a reason.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted.

At least Tech comes out of this game looking bad.
