If animals are God's creatures, then God allows them to kill each other via the food chain. If you believe in the God of the bible, it is stated what is fit to eat and what isn't (animals are among our food).
Sport hunting and utilizing the kill vs. killing for the sake of killing is a valid topic.

Perhaps, if we are nothing but mammals (as the song goes), we can relate wild animal behavior to our own? Or are we more than just mammals?
