    My all-defensive team:

    C Mourning
    PF Garnett
    SF McGrady
    SG Jones
    PG Payton

Lots of close ones, since it's hard to tell, defense being so subjective and all.

    Ben Wallace

I just love how much he helps out my fantasy team in all the defensive categories.

I don't know about now, but the best of all- time would have to be Charles Barkley.

It's tough to say who is the best defensive player, because of the different positions.

I would rate Bowen as the best perimeter defender.

Mutombo as the best interior defender.

Marion is a great weakside help defender, but is "only" good at man-to-man D.

If anyone remembers the first SA game the Rockets played at SA this year, you would remember how Bowen gave Mobley fits.

Kobe is still too easy to post up to be considered a great defender. Obviously his perimeter defense is excellent. Garnett is the best all around defensive player in the league. The most versatile & tenacious.

Ray Allen?!? Ummmm...no. Kenny T is a good defender but he is by no means among the best in the NBA. But, c'mon, Ray Allen?!?
