I know there are some Torontonians on this board...(and this thread would quickly die in the Rockets forum, so I'm posting it here) I'll be in Toronto for work until mid-December and don't want to miss the beginning of the season...where's the best place to catch the games? Any places in particular you'd recommend? I'm staying at King & Yonge.
Well if you're looking for a bar or something that has Rockets games you'll be out of luck. At least I haven't found any...
I know a lady at work who's nuts about Yao Ming, I'm sure she knows of a bar that has Rockets basketball.....it'll probably be in China town....I'll ask for you tomorrow.
Most bars should have NBA League Pass if they are serious about the business. Just ask them to change the channel on one of the TVs.
I live in Mississauga, the suburb, but right now I'm in London, ON for school. I do spend a lot of time downtown when I'm there though and normally spend time watching Raptors games with my buddies at sports bars. In my experience, when hockey's on, it'll be pointless to try to focus on any other game. It's Canada for ya.
Any of you Toronto folks watching the Rox/Mavs game anywhere around downtown tonight? It's on TNT (my hotel doesn't have TNT)..
