    13.8 points
    4.1 rebounds
    7.6 assists
    1.17 steals

Everyone was raising hell when Moochie signed that big contract, but those numbers aren't too shabby. He could definitely start for half the teams in the league....

Wow. Impressive, actually. In how many minutes? How many games did he start?

This is what I have been saying, he is actually a more effecient PG then Francis.

and our record is 2-20. and he isnt a starter, but a backup for us, which is why people were complaining about the salary. im glad for him, though, that he put up good numbers.

IMO that just means we rely on our PG too much for scoring which could seriously hold this team back.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take Steve over Moochie any day of the week, but was just pointing out that he's a lot better than some people give him credit for. I'm sure that he could be the key player in a deal for the Rockets this offseason...

We won't trade Mooch unless we get a solid backup PG in the draft. Steve's headaches have also made Mooch valuable.

Keep repeating: "the back court is set; the backcourt is set." It allows you to focus on what is important.

When we get to the point where the backcourt is the weak link then you know we are fine tuning for a deep playoff run.

Moochie has some game, for sure, but I much preferred his solid play off the bench last year to this year's uninspired bench play, but solid starting minutes.

    KT + Mooch + #7(ours) + #14(TOR) for Odom + Dooling

Clippers get depth at all positions, and we get our SF of the future, as well as a smaller contract to make space for Odom/Dooling/Griffin extensions.

    If losing is efficient.

Exactly. You can say that Moochie is a better pure point guard, or that Steve makes bad decisions all you want. But the fact is that they both play the same position for the majority of games, and Steve wins more when he starts. I don't think that Moochie is any more efficient that Steve at the point.

Those stats are nice, but when Moochie allows the other PG to go off for 25 and 10, then it equates to losing.

Moochie would not be able to start for half the NBA teams. This is definitely a case where stats are very skewed.

Well let Mooch play the point and put Steve at the 2 guard and see if we still lose as often.

Considering Francis has missed around 22 games, Moochie has started around 22 games.
