    Most anticipated games before the end of 08?

    PS3:

    Little Big Planet
    Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm

    360:
    Gears of War 2
    Fable 2

    Wii:
    Nothing good - no that's not a game.

    Persona 4

    Chrono Trigger

    I'll end up with most of these games and probably won't play them. I guess I like collecting games that interest me. What games are you looking forward to that's going to be released before 2009?

    Wii - might get a 1 month membership at gamefly and rent these games if they get decent reviews. They could be fun with the Wiimote.

    I want to convince my little sister to sell her PSP/Wii and games for a PS3 so I can get 2k9 if it doesn't come out on PC.

    Just went gold I believe, so yeah.

    Before the end of the year, I'd like to get:
    LittleBigPlanet
    Persona 4
    Resistance 2
    Maybe NBA 2K9 (really want to get a NBA game at some point)
    Lumines Supernova (it is ~$10 or so)

    And I'd like to play the following, but may not get to them until next year (unless I rent them this year or something):
    Valkyria Chronicles
    Fallout 3
    Spore
    Civ Revolution
    Mirror's Edge

    And maybe some others I'm forgetting.

    Unfortunately, given the backlog I already have and the amount of time/money I'd expect to have, I could see some of the games from the 1st category getting pushed to the second (think only LBP and P4 are sure-bets for me).

    edit: Oh yeah, A Vampyre Story looks kind of interesting. Might want to get that too.

    Those are the games I want, but I will probably only pick up Resistance 2 this year. Having a 10-month old daughter + start of basketball season = not much gaming time.

    Awesome list. I'm a PS3 person, but I'm considering adding a 360. I'm actually leaning more towards getting a new gaming PC, though. It seems that most of the great 360 exclusives eventually are released on PC (as well as some on PS3, ie: Bioshock.)

    For now, though, really looking forward to Dead Space,Resistance 2, Silent Hill, GH:WT, Rock Band 2, COD World At War, Fallout 3, Prince of Persia (LOVE the graphical style.)

    You know I love the Sands of Time Trilogy but the new direction they seem to be taking Prince of Persia leaves me a little skeptical.
