My brother in law picked up 5 generators at a small farm and ranch store in Atoka OK on Sunday, and I drove up to N. McKinney to get them. Two of them were for me, and the other three were for friends. Anyway--long story short--I ended up with an extra, and I'd like to sell it. The price is $850, and it is a DEK 5650, 11 HP commercial grade generator. It is "electric start ready" but it does not have the batterry for it. The two I have start with one or two pulls. I'm running two side by side fridges and a a full size freezer (along with a few small items) on one of them, and I'm running a 15,000 BTU window unit (along with a few small items) on the other. Neither seems to be really taxed by the load. They are going through about 5 gallons of gas every ten to twelve hours. I did a search on the net to see what they are going for, and Ace hardware outlet claims to have one for $599. You can have that one shipped for only $152 more as long as you agree to be at your house for the next five days (they can't guarantee an actual delivery date) and you have to get it off the truck (it weighs over 200 pounds). However, when you click on the link, it describes the model below this one (10 HP, 5000 continuous watts instead of 11 HP, 5650 continuous watts). I think I'm offering a good deal..........I'm located in Pearland. If you are interested, contact me through the board. --Robert

I'm going to want cash up front, and I would deliver it to within 15 miles or so of my house. Beyond that, I'll want something extra for my time and fuel.
